I have to agree with Podo,
Isabella’s bucolic sounds flemmy while Olivier’s
bucolique sounds genuinely pastoral.
JC, it was originally a medieval town centre way to the south of the river, but here it’s looked to the ford and whammy, salt-ford-ish thing.
