The Royal Post has been collecting on Sundays, and has been emptying the post drops regularly. Here, it was so full that old women wait around to drop their letters into the mailmen’s own collection bags. Ho, ho, ho!

Holiday Fact: When kept alive and away from your house, Christmas trees are both environmentally friendly and pose less of a fire hazard to your house and loved ones. Ho, ho, ho!

I wanted to get this great shot of Santa, alone, in front of either the Pump Room or the Abbey so I waited there for a long time while Santa chatted it up with the other fella. It was cold, wet, the chimney in the North Pole shed was stuffed so I assume Santa was a bit aggitated. Considering how there were only non-English speaking tourists around, he kept on going about how he lost Mrs. Clause and how he wouldn’t be visiting the Irish because there’s “never been a good one in the lot, over there.” Ho, ho, ho!

All I’ll say is that this would be way cooler if he jiggled around and danced….maybe even sang a pre-recorded song like the Amazing Singing Salmon? or something. Ho, ho, ho!

(JC– Sheeeesh. Thank goodness he’s not making me improvise my own descriptions this time!)

Hello everyone, Hopefully eveyone will have a happy holiday season. I myself am heading to Salisbury and London, and will be away for the next week(s…) but thankfully JC has agreed to post in my absence. I will thank her more properly later but I’m running out the door now. Hope everyone else has a great time.

Cheers!

JC: “No text for you.”
JR: “To answer Ionna’s question, I had to zoom in on this from quite a distance, and because of the less than optimal effects, I had to photoshop correct the colors. It was actually raining hard, and this horse (unlike all the others) was taking shelter under this tree. I observed this for a good 30 minutes before finally asking myself why I wasn’t taking shelter somewhere?!”
